• Design, deploy, and manage Veeam Backup & Replication solutions for client infrastructures (VMware, Hyper-V, physical servers, and cloud).
• Perform regular backup verification, testing, and restore drills to ensure data integrity and availability.
• Monitor daily backup jobs and proactively resolve backup failures or inconsistencies.
• Manage replication, offsite storage, and retention policies according to client SLAs.
• Troubleshoot and resolve backup, replication, and storage-related issues in a timely manner.
• Assist in developing and maintaining disaster recovery (DR) and business continuity plans.
• Provide technical documentation and maintain accurate backup inventory and reports.
• Collaborate with engineers and account managers to support client onboarding and environment assessments.
• Evaluate and recommend backup best practices and continuous improvement opportunities.
• Support integration with cloud platforms (e.g., Veeam Cloud Connect, Azure, AWS) and NAS/SAN systems.

• 3+ years of experience in backup administration, preferably within an MSP environment.
• Hands-on expertise with Veeam Backup & Replication
• Strong understanding of virtualization technologies (VMware vSphere, Hyper-V).
• Knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory.
• Experience with NAS/SAN storage, cloud backup, and offsite replication.
• Familiarity with monitoring and ticketing tools commonly used in MSPs (e.g., N-able, ConnectWise, Datto RMM).
• Excellent troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.
• Experience with Microsoft 365 backups, cloud DR, or immutable storage is desirable.
• VCP / MCSE / Azure Administrator / AWS Certified Solutions Architect (advantageous)
