A Purchasing Assistant, also referred to as a Customer Associate, is someone who supports the purchasing team by handling administrative tasks, managing supplier relationships, and assisting customers. They ensure that orders are processed correctly, track inventory, maintain accurate records, and provide essential customer service. Essentially, they help keep the purchasing process smooth and efficient while maintaining positive interactions with both suppliers and customers.

Job Description:

  • Shift: 9:30PM to 6:30AM (Nightshift)
  • Working Days: 5 days (Mon-Fri)
  • Experience: 4+years Experience
  • Location: Ahmedabad, Gujarat (Onsite)  .

Responsibilities

  • Implementing & following effective sourcing, screening and interviewing techniques.
  • Administering all the hiring processes of new employees.
  • Assess training needs and coordinate learning and development initiatives for all employees.
  • Create and run fun activities & employee engagement activities
  • Taking care of social media
  • Counselling employees as and when required.
  • Developing fair HR policies and ensuring employees understand and comply with them.
  • Act as the point of contact regarding employees’ grievances

Job Requirements

  • Excellent Communication Skills in English
  • Excellent knowledge and understanding of the HR cycle.
  • Ability to work in a critical environment & able to manage time efficiently.
